You know, I often wonder what Prince Charming's life would have been like if he'd chosen one of the step sisters. Or the mother even, I'm convinced she would have tried to get the shoe on herself if she thought she could get away with it. Hmmm.

... Probably a lot less clean. They never did seem to do much around the house. Eh, looks like Cinderella actually did have her uses. And at least she wasn't as much of a dog as the others.

She had a midnight curfew. A midnight curfew.

Now Charming won't shut up, but I keep telling him it's not her. Cinderella never liked getting that dirty.

Interesting developments in the reincarnate community as of late. I've actually caught myself dreaming of castles. Sadly, princesses just don't seem to be my type, castle maids, however... now I've always found them to be absolutely charming.

Interesting. Apparently not all glass is very breakable at all.

Two flights of stairs and that damn shoe is still perfectly in tact. Anybody want a glass slipper? Thinking about holding an auction.

Two for two with Snow White, Charming, we've still got it. You're despicable. I know.

Working from home sucks but the office still isn't completely back to normal after the uh, explosion incident. So home will have to do for now. At least I can make phone calls in my sweats and still sound completely professional!

Met a girl last night on the strip by the name of Chastity, but I can tell you right now, she wasn't wearing a belt. Ah, Los Angeles, how I've missed you.

In case there was ever any doubt in my mind, there certainly isn't now. Communal showers? Not something you ever want to be subjected to.

If any of you have need for me, Charming and I will be sulking in our apartment with a bottle of scotch. Poor guy, I almost feel like I owe him. Not enough to don the puffy sleeves, I'll never owe him that much. Maybe if he stops bitching at me for two seconds I'll let him play with his sword. Wait, that sounds wrong

Update: Everything is ruined and burnt to a crisp. Including my in office porn DVD collection. On the bright side? It's so much easier to ignore clients now without an office.

Charming's a little sore that his puffy sleeved suit got ruined. Don't ask me why I had that with me at work, I'll never tell you. Never.

Well, that was an exciting start to the week. I'm just sorry I didn't have any marshmellows.

008 - Who is the fairest one of all?

To be honest the whole picture fiasco was not all that upsetting to me. All it really seemed to do was give me a more severe case of narcissism, which I'm sure nobody wanted. Honestly, we've got reincarnates dying left and right and all you people can think about is whether or not you looked fat in that photograph? Or maybe that was just me.

So, proposing to a stranger didn't exactly work out the way I wanted it to. What sort of person says 'yes' to a man whose first name she doesn't even know? I mean, I know I'm ridiculously good looking...

And I must extend my sincerest apologies to my lovely teammate for knowingly allowing a point to another team, but really, that lap dance was so worth it.

005 - I choose dare.

So it seems for this Dare night thing (which I've elected to do in the hopes of distracting myself further from my work), I've been paired up with someone by the lovely name of Fern.

Fern, love? Please show yourself, so we can get acquainted and start planning a strategy. I might be a little too old for this, but strangely I don't care. It's the holidays, right? Time to slack off and be foolish.

004 - 'Tis the season?

Ah, the holiday season. Best time of year to be a lawyer actually, if you'd believe it. So many more possible scenarios that result in suing or divorce. Or both. Someone falls off a latter putting up decorations, burns down a kitchen making Thanksgiving dinner, some corporate prick decides to take a winter holiday with his secretary. The list never ends. Really, I almost hate to take time out of all the money I'm making to go home for the two required family dinners of the year. Thanksgiving and Christmas are two very different holidays, but they seem to be the same in the Reed household. Drink, eat, drink more, fight, eat.

Are you gracing us with your presence this year, Rosie?

003 - I Ain't Sayin' She's A Gold Digger

Hope you all had a lovely Halloween night. I, for one, had loads of fun!

Charming is on a bit of a time out for the hideous stunts he tried to pull. Note to self: dangling a hammer over glass slipper seems to do the trick. Sorry, ladies! You'll just have to make do with my own brand of charm for awhile. I know, I know. You much prefer it this way.

Aaaand, back to the weekly grindstone. Gold diggers and cheating spouses really do make my life so complete.

002 - Say No to Frill

It's already mid-afternoon and I've already grown tired of this holiday. There are people at the office who actually dressed in costume for the work day, what are we, twelve? Doesn't give clients a solid vote of confidence in my opinion, what with their lawyers running around wearing cat ears and ridiculous things like that!

Charming is threatening to come out of the wood work and dress me in puffy sleeves and tights. If that happens, I will not be leaving the house tonight I hope.

Edit: And I keep reading about all these people putting salt all over their house and warding off evils or some nonsense. When did everyone get so damn superstitious? I really do hate this holiday, I think it's a waste of time!

... I don't think it is.

Oh, fuck.

001 - So this is love?

So, I'm definitely not new to these parts, but apparently everyone and their mom has one of these including Rosie, who at times is more annoying than mom so I thought it time to finally start one of these ridiculous things.

I'm Peter Reed, Pete to those I know informally, and (this is still weird to say) I'm occasionally invaded by this poncey ass man child who to my understanding went around town dressed in frilly frocks, looking for some chick who had a shoe- otherwise known as Prince Charming. I would just like to assure you all now that I? Am nothing like him.

I live in Los Angeles and work at my father's law firm, my sister spends her time playing with ponies and bickering with her alter ego named 'Buttercup'... fitting yeah, life. I won't have a lot of time for this, because I'm very busy and important, but I thought at least a short introduction was in order.
